Most of the people today prefer to stay in the rented homes rather than owning one. Until and unless the tenant is involved in something illicit or is troubling the neighbours, no landlord will interfere otherwise. If he feels that the tenant is involved in anti-social activities, is a drug peddler or is troubling the neighbors, as per the rental agreement he has the right to evict such a troublesome tenant.

items left in the house and it is mentioned in the rental agreement, he should
make sure that those items are present in the house. He should also inspect the

house.

some problem. A tenant need not run to find a plumber, or call him up to repair
it. Landowner will deal with it on behalf of a tenant. But a tenant should
maintain the rental property in good condition after it is handed over to him
on rent. He will definitely be responsible for messing up with the water pipes
often. Of course, the landowner must have handed over the heating and
electrical systems in good condition to the tenant.

strikes. Be it fire, theft, subsidence, earthquake etc. the items owned by the
landowner will be protected. However it is not his responsibility to cover up
the tenant's items housed in the rental property. For tenant's owned items,
tenant himself has to take initiative to protect them under a separate tenant's
content protective cover.
